Trading for the week began on firm note, as key benchmark indices saw gap up on positive Asian stocks. Though, stocks trimmed gains in morning trade after initial up move but fresh buying in index pivotal propelled the key benchmark indices near day high’s and were trading firm as the session progressed. The health of the market was strong. Nifty 50 gained 80.25 points and settled the day at 10852.90. All the sectors ended in positive note but PSU banks and metal sector were the gainers of the day.
