Benchmark indices traded bullish on the very first trading session of the week ahead of F&O expiry on Thursday on account of positive global cues after the Emmanuel Macron, won the first round of the French presidential election. Moreover investors also await the quarterly results of Reliance Industries to be announced later in day. Nifty ended the session to close at 9225.45.
Realty and Banking stocks were the major gainers of the day while Pharma and Media stocks were the losers for the day.
