Most Asian stocks were trading higher on Wednesday. The US Fed began its two-day policy-setting meeting with Chairman Jerome Powell scheduled to hold a news conference to discuss the central bank’s plans on Wednesday.

China stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Media and Technology sectors led shares lower. At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite declined 0.72%.

Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Computers & Peripherals, Textile and Cement sectors led shares higher. At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted added 0.01%.
